Operations Manager - 433

We are looking for a dynamic and highly organised Operations Manager to oversee and optimise the day-to-day operations of our Editorial Content Team. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our team runs smoothly, deadlines are met, and our content remains engaging, innovative, and true to the 433 brand. A key part of your responsibility will be integrating AI tools into our workflows to streamline production, enhance content personalisation, and improve efficiency. You’ll also play a critical role in maintaining the topicality and relevance of our content, ensuring it resonates with the modern football fan by staying ahead of trends, breaking news, and fan-driven narratives.

Key Responsibilities

• Team coordination: Manage workflows, schedules, and priorities to ensure the editorial team operates efficiently.

• Strategy: Translate overall company strategy into actionable initiatives for the editorial team while championing the strategy 24/7.

• Process optimisation: Develop and implement systems to streamline content production, approval processes, and publishing timelines.

• Resource management: Ensure the editorial team has the tools, data, and resources needed to excel.

• Performance monitoring: Track and analyse team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

• Collaboration: Act as the bridge between the editorial, partnerships, and tech teams, fostering seamless communication.

• Crisis management: Proactively address bottlenecks or unexpected challenges to ensure uninterrupted content delivery.

• Quality assurance: Maintain high standards by overseeing adherence to editorial guidelines and the 433 tone of voice.

Requirements

• Proven experience (at least 5 years) in an operational or project management role, preferably in a media or digital content environment.

• Proven experience (at least 5 years) in a management role.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with creative teams and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with digital media workflows, tools, and platforms.

• A proactive mindset with a solution-oriented approach to challenges.

• Passion for football and understanding of the 433 brand ethos.

• Excellent English language skills, written and spoken (Dutch language skills a plus).

• 24/7 mentality, meaning availability when necessary, including weekends and evenings within a 40-hour framework.

• Master degree and master’s level of work and thinking.

• Currently lives in or around Amsterdam (the Netherlands).
